Northern Territory Airports required a new name, logo and visual identity for their high-profile business centre, that would reflect a quiet and peaceful space away from the hustle and bustle of the airport.
The new name of the business centre is directly linked to aviation history; Wirraway is the name of the military aircraft that were in use from 1939 to 1956. Our challenge was to balance the historical origins of the name with the new contemporary fit-out, state of the art facilities and technology. A modern and professional logo and visual identity were developed, with a gentle nod to a period in our history. Featured heavily in the visual identity are large bold numbers communicating the capacity of specific booking options, which is balanced well with the technical-style illustrations demonstrating seating alternatives.
