Visual identity creative concepts, signage, banners, billboards, print and online advertising, internal document templates, a style guide for in-house visual identity implementation.
The Darwin Waterfront is a vibrant Darwin destination that attracts more than a million visitors a year. Boab was commissioned to revitalise the Darwin Waterfront visual identity and messaging to reflect the diverse usage of the precinct: experience, dine, splash, enjoy, meet, stay, shop and study.
Boab created a dynamic visual identity system that comprises of eight graphic elements and colours that represent each of the eight precinct uses (experience, dine, splash, enjoy, meet, stay, shop and study).
The key consideration of the project was to create a visual identity system and style guide that could be easily used by Darwin Waterfront Corporation staff to create the marketing collateral. The new visual identity was launched in September 2015 and the ongoing highly effective implementation of the visual identity by in-house staff at Darwin Waterfront is testament to the success of the project.
